Cord winder + trial tensioner

A tiny home for spare cord. The curved waist keeps a short accessory line wrapped neatly; three threading holes let you experiment with friction tensioning.

  • 52 × 24 × 4.8 mm
  • One-piece design with a curved winding waist
  • Three 4.2 mm threading holes for 2–3 mm accessory cord
  • 5.4 mm carry eye for your keyring or cord

One printed piece. PLA or PETG. No additional components required to function; keyring not included.

Physical performance has not been tested. Not yet for sale.

Includes all three tools as STL files and P2S projects for PLA and PETG HF. Select your actual AMS spool before slicing.

Before you try it

Cord grip depends on line size, surface and threading. Check for slip before use, including when wet. No load rating is claimed; never use for climbing, fall arrest or rescue.

Print a first prototype

The supplied P2S projects use a 0.4 mm nozzle, 0.20 mm layers, four walls and 40% gyroid infill, with supports disabled. Print flat as supplied. For PETG other than PETG HF, choose the matching filament profile and reslice.

Digital checks passed for watertight geometry and slicing in PLA and PETG HF. Physical fit, grip, strength and wear still need testing.

Small tools. More possibilities.
